"Hiring a personal trainer was an idea that I had pondered over for years. But much like my gym habits it was something that I never followed through with. Then I met Susan in August of 2023 and my only regret is that our paths did not cross earlier in life. After our initial conversation I was eager to sign up for her 12 week program. I laid out what I was hoping to achieve and she came back with a personal plan that fit perfectly with my lifestyle and my schedule.
At the end of our three month journey I had lost nearly 30 pounds along with gaining a significant amount of muscle. My confidence skyrocketed and my mental clarity flourished as a result of the physical change. I am still following her routines to this day and I have adopted a much healthier lifestyle overall.
Susan was truly the spark that I needed to choose a more fulfilling path. To anybody out there seeking a little guidance, or if you just need that push in the right direction, I would look no further than Susan."

Over the years Susan has given me macronutrient information that helped to transform my body weight by several pounds. She also put together a workout plan for a couple of friends and asked if I would be interested in receiving a plan as this would be a part of her desire to train and educate other in personal fitness. I gave her my physical stats and goals and she gave me a 5 day plan which was excellent.
I trained with the program for a couple of years. I am currently in a strength training class 2 days a week (as I am now 69) and still utilize parts of this work out program 2 days. I have to say that Susan went above and beyond to put this together for me. She is very knowledgeable, health conscious and extremely motivated and is still available if I have any questions. She is an excellent personal trainer.

Many times clients are well equipped at the end of the 8 or 12 week program to keep going on their own. But of course I also tend to establish a pretty solid bond with my clients and miss seeing them go! I always stay in touch, and provide free guidance from time to time as needed. But if you would like to continue a more formal training program with me beyond your initial plan, I can work with you on a month to month price, and can just keep going with you!
If things are going really well, and I want to keep working with you, how does that work?
Just get in touch with me! If it looks like a minor pause, we can pick right back up when you are ready to go again. If it looks like it will be a longer term delay, I am happy to refund customers for the duration of the program that is not used.
What happens if I have something major come up that is going to prevent me from completing the work for the week (or even longer)?
Safety is paramount. With starting any kind of new exercise program, I always recommend that clients talk with their medical providers first to make sure there isn't something that would prevent doing the program. With that said, any time you start something new, there is an expected level of some muscle fatigue and some soreness, but pain - especially when doing the exercise - is NEVER what we want. Stop the exercise as soon as you feel like something is wrong and make sure to provide me with feedback. I will find alternatives and will adjust the plan accordingly!
If I try an exercise and it doesn't feel right, what should I do?
That's a great question and one that almost everyone asks me. During our initial call, one of the things I'll be asking you is about any previous experience you have with working out, and with strength training specifically. My number one concern, beyond you seeing results and hitting your goals, is making sure you do it safely. I have a complete library of videos and helpful tools for each exercise chosen, based on your needs and your level of experience, to make sure that you understand what you're supposed to do, and how you're supposed to do it. And, if you would like, I am available to schedule video calls at the beginning of our program to make sure you feel comfortable and for me to check your form with any exercise you're doing. The beauty of online coaching, especially when I know your schedule is busy and demanding, is that I can ensure you have what you need in order to work things into your available time.
How does this really work if everything is online? How will I know if I'm doing something right?
don't worry, I have the answers!
